    Hey, I'm J and I do content marketing here (I'm also a 🧗‍♂️crap climber, 🏕️ wannabe adventurer, 🎮 part-time gamer and 🏋️ fitness tryhard). Likely you've come here to check I'm a legitimate author for the stuff written up here, or something like that. Well, it's true. Also, here's a bit of a bio, incase you're interested.


    What does a content marketer do, you ask? Well, for me it boils down to three things:

    Coming up with an informed opinion on how to win.

    A fluffy word, it can mean many things. To me, content = stuff (blogs, articles, videos, podcasts, social media posts...)


    🚀 Marketing
    Helping us better communicate what we do to the right audiences, at the right time, in the right place; the result = growth.


    To help build FinanceShoots into the powerhouse animation agency we're destined to be, I'll be:


    ~ Constructing appetising ad copy
    ~ Joining the dots in our marketing strategy
    ~ Building a bank of better marketing messaging
    ~ Experimenting with some A/B, multivariate or redirect testing
    ~ Painting a clearer picture of our website visitors and our clients
    ~ Creating and calenderising some scrumptious social media copy
    ~ Writing scintillating service pages, scripts, lucrative landing pages & banging blog posts




    I've headed up an awesome small team of contenteers developing the team (while writing for clients alongside them), our product and our overall offering.


    Audiences have been subject to my voice at TEDx, the Department for International Trade, Experimentation Elite, Local & London-based universities and some more on top.


    I like to absorb knowledge and then dispense it.


    I also share a birthday with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, hold a certificate for “Champion Welly Wanger”, love a good dystopian novel and am 1-inch shorter (in height) than the national average for males in the UK.
